Muhlenberg Magazine - Voting Feature

This is one of the features for the Muhlenberg Magazine Fall 2024 issue called “Muhlenberg Votes.” The story is about how the college community demonstrates high levels of political engagement through robust student registration and turnout efforts, the work of a nationally recognized polling institute, and a long-running series of election-related events. To represent the high level of voter participation I used hundreds of “I voted” stickers collaged together, creating a feeling of volume that can’t be ignored. To pair with this feature, the cover was photographed outside of the most iconic building on the college’s campus and staged similar to one students might share on social media on Election Day with their voting sticker. The photo was shot by myself and with my own hand.
